Birthday Party on the Ocean with Champagne

Champagne Birthday party on the Ocean.

Sail Oahu really enjoys welcoming back return guests. On Friday 27th April Lisa came back to celebrate her Birthday with 5 of her friends.

The weather could have been a bit kinder, the wind and rain made it uncomfortable for the crew. Not to worry, the guests were warm and dry under the large bimini.

The Pool is OPEN!

SV Shalimar is the most comfortable yacht in the Hawaiian fleet. The Interior of the boat is air-conditioned and so well appointed luxury inside and out.

The weather may have been a bit iffy but the water’s temperature was in the high 70’s.   The crew made the buoy fast to the boat and the “Pool was most definitely OPEN!”

The Captain really enjoys hearing the squeaks and squeals of fun. Watching people trying to get others attention when they snorkel at Turtle Canyon. A member of the crew guides our guests to the “Turtle cleaning station.” The shelled giants wait in turn to get settled into the worn out hollow in the coral to be cleaned by reef and triggerfish.

Everyone has finished playing in the ocean its back on board. A warm shower on the swim- step and fluffy complimentary towels await everyone.

Lunch is served buffet style in the salon. After everyone has eaten their fill we serve the finest Môet et Chandon champagne and the Birthday cake. Lisa blew out the candles as everyone sang.

“Happy Birthday ” echoed across the waves as we pulled away from the mooring towards the harbor.

Lisa and her friends went and sat on the bow of the boat in the comfy bean bag chairs. Watching Waikiki on the starboard side of the boat as we came back into the slip on Shalimar.
